The last decade has been very significant for Greek viticulture. New Greek specialists, educated mainly in France, have renewed the spectrum of wines produces by traditional native grape varieties, most of which go back to early ancient times. Therefore the outcome in taste and aroma is really interesting and specific.
Since 2003 Oenoforos has joined forces with one of the biggest Greek exporting wine making companies, Greek Wine Cellas – V. Kourtakis S.A. Our venture “OENOFOROS” (Greek for wine-bearing) expresses the visions and activities of Angelos Rounalis, a Bordeaux graduate wine maker and Vassilis Kourtakis also Oenologist and President of the Company.
